Warm Clothes Drive

The situation of Thar Desert in not hidden from anyone. It is the largest desert of Pakistan and the eighteenth largest in the world with an approximate population of 1.5 million. Thar has been suffering from drought since the last ten years..

 This year, 2021, the Coronavirus pandemic has made every day routine more difficult for many, especially for those, who were already living on the edge of poverty. Without assurance of nutritional provision, a large number of individuals are struggling to have sufficient food on their table, let alone affording warm clothes and blankets to help them survive the winter.

Al-Hamdulillah, Al-Madinah Islamic Research Center provided warm clothes and blankets to the needy in the rural areas of Tharparkar, other areas of Interior Sindh and Balochistan. This drive is carried out every year in winter, and we try the best to cover as much area as possible. This year we came up with the same approach and strategy that is to carry this drive, and to cover maximum schools & mosques located in 20 or more areas of Tharparkar and Balochistan.
