Iftar us Saim / Fidyah (Non-Zakat)
- Fidya (expiation for a missed fast) is given for those who are suffering from long term illness or unable to fast due to old age (scholars also include pregnancy in this category), They can pay the fidya as well and it will be counted in case for some reason fasts cannot be made up later.
Muawin Program (Zakat)
Amidst current inflation, this initiative aids individuals with limited income by creating a broadcast list. Contributors receive messages about funding specific needs after thorough verification, providing support in various aspects such as debt payment, accidental situations, medical treatment, benevolent loans, small businesses, financial assistance in marriage, and bills payment.
Emergency Program ( Zakat)
The program involves distributing critical supplies, including tents, cooked food, ration, and medical aid, to communities facing crises. MIRC-Welfare consistently assumes a leading and proactive role in emergency relief efforts including Covid-19 Lockdown Ration Relief, Karachi Rain Affectees Relief 2020, Sindh Flood Affectees Relief 2020, Karachi Rain Affectees Relief 2022, and Flood Relief Program 2022-23.
